THE MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE WILL BECOME A PROMOTER OF UZBEKISTAN’S ANCIENT AND UNIQUE HERITAGE

During the visit of the delegation from the Imam Maturidi and Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Centers to Malaysia, a discussion was organized at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation (ISTAC).

During the conversation, Abdulaziz Berghout, Director of the International Institute of Islamic Understanding and Civilization, highly praised the results of reforms in New Uzbekistan.

This scientific institution is a particularly prestigious institution in Malaysia, where researchers from different countries of the world conduct research on Islamic science, modern religious processes, and ancient manuscripts.

It should be noted that this institute stands out in Kuala Lumpur with its unique architectural building. It was built on the basis of the Alhambra (al-Hamra), a unique example of Muslim architecture in Spain. Thousands of manuscripts on Islamic science are stored here. Among them, you can see ancient copies of the works of Al-Biruni.

The director of the institute proposed holding a roundtable discussion with international research centers in Uzbekistan.

Berghout also noted that he intends to use the opportunities of this institute to hold exhibitions, scientific seminars, and presentations for the Malaysian scientific community about the ancient and rich history of Uzbekistan and its potential in the field of pilgrimage tourism.
