The Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center organized a scientific and educational event for students and youth at the Samarkand Institute of Agricultural Innovations and Research on the topic “Uzbekistan – country of interethnic harmony and religious tolerance”.
At the event held during the ongoing “Tolerance Week” in our country, scientific staff J. Jumaev and B. Mahmudov informed the participants about the work, measures, and efforts to ensure inter-religious tolerance, ethnic harmony, freedom of belief and conscience in our country.
All conditions have been created for representatives of different religions living in our country to hold their religious ceremonies and actively participate in the life of the society. Uzbekistan has a unique experience in this regard. Undoubtedly, this is reflected in our country’s stable atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
Speakers answered students’ questions in detail. Also, within the framework of the week, an excursion of the students of this institute of the Center was organized. Excursionists closely studied each exhibit in the Central Museum and got acquainted with the activities of the library.
During the excursion, around discussion was held with students on the topic “Heritage of ancestors – a lesson for young people”. A quiz on the life and scientific heritage of our scholars was organized, and the winners were awarded with publications of the Center.
