An online seminar on this topic was held jointly with the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center and the Institute of Islamic Civilization of the National University of Malaysia. It was attended by the Center’s research staff, researchers, and scientists.
Prof. Dr. Fariza Md Sham , Director of the Institute of Islamic Civilization Malaysia gave a lecture.
The scholar emphasized that Islam is a strong religion with unchanging values, that its teachings and laws are fully compatible with human nature as a faith that glorifies the nature of humanity, and addressed the problems of misconceptions faced by Muslim societies.
The speaker said that, this religion is often associated with extremist groups and terrorism. It is important that the entire world community recognizes that Islam stands for peace, harmony and social well-being. We must always confirm this with our actions, behavior, words and relationships with representatives of other religions, based on the principles of tolerance.
The professor listed the consequences of the spread of Islamophobia in the European region, scientifically substantiating that Islam is a religion of peace, enlightenment and creativity, and emphasized that it promotes values such as peace, justice and brotherhood.
Dr. Fariza Md Sham mentioned among the virtues of love and consistency in religion such noble human qualities as having a positive influence on the lives of others, promoting the well-being of others through good deeds, compassion, caring and mutual respect.
At the end of the seminar, the scientist answered the questions of the participants.
