On October 4, the promotional events held in separate neighborhoods on the theme “Heritage of Imam Bukhari – against alien ideas” continued in Urgut district.
The propaganda group, consisting of representatives of Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, professors and teachers of Samarkand State University, and the leaders of the regional administration of the Committee for Religious Affairs, together with neighborhood activists, held spiritual and educational meetings with citizens, youth and people in need of social protection.
The causes of religious extremism were analyzed at the event organized at “Chorchinor” neighborhood. Lack of general level and secular, religious knowledge, ignorance of the true meaning of religious concepts are among these reasons. Based on this, it was emphasized that the need to fight with enlightenment against various types of spiritual attacks that propagandists are facing today, to end threats by arming our people, especially our youth with the necessary knowledge, requires equal responsibility from everyone.
At the meeting at “Quyi Alghar” neighborhood, it was noted that neglect in everyday life, indifference to the life of the society, to the processes taking place in it, has a negative impact on the fate of every family and every person. It was emphasized that it is important to convey pure religious teachings to young people, to educate them in the spirit of patriotism, devotion to national and religious values.
The members of the advocacy group were given a broad explanation about the socially dangerous consequences of falling under the influence of various currents at the events. It was expressed opinions on the aspects that should be paid attention to in the upbringing of children and practical measures to further improve the health of the spiritual environment on the basis of family-neighborhood-school cooperation.
