A roundtable discussion was held on the topic of the life and scientific heritage of the great Hanafi scholar Muhammad ibn Hasan Shaybani at the Bulgar Islamic Academy in the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.
Alloma was born in 132 hijri. Due to his passion for science, he moved to Kufa, which is considered the center of science. Muhammad ibn Hasan Shaybani was a student of Abu Hanifa during his time. Studied under Abu Yusuf. Then he traveled to Syria, Khurasan, Hijaz in order to further enrich his knowledge. After a long time, he studied the science of hadith by the Malik ibn Anas in Madinah. He eventually become a famous jurist and mentored many future scholars. In particular, Imam Shafi’i and Asad ibn Furat were among his students.
Bayozkhan Mahmudov, a researcher of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, participated in the event along with professors and teachers, doctoral and master students of the academy and made a speech. At the moment, he is studying as a master student, faculty of theology of this academy. He made a speech about the research being conducted in Uzbekistan to study and promote the scientist’s scientific heritage.
And informed the participants about the reforms being implemented in the religious and educational sphere in our country. Issues related to cooperation at the international level were discussed at the round table, such as further improvement of the methods of studying the scientific heritage of Muslim scholars, translation, interpretation, and promotion of many works considered influential in the entire Islamic world.
At the event, the participants were presented with presentation-stands telling about the works of Muhammad ibn Hasan Shaybani, who devoted his whole life to regulating the standards of Islamic law, who made an incomparable contribution to the development of Hanafi sect methodology and Islamic.
