A PHD STUDENT AT THE “OXFORD CENTER FOR ISLAMIC STUDIES” CAME CENTER

Benjamin Sharkey, a doctoral student at the “Oxford Center for Islamic Studies” in the United Kingdom, came to the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.

The researcher is working on his doctoral dissertation on the theme “Medieval history of region Central Asia.” The purpose of his visit to Uzbekistan is to study the objects of research and to review the existing cultural heritage monuments and historical sources.

Accompanied by the head of the department of the Center Yuldashkhon Isaev, the guest got acquainted with the activities of the museum and library, and talked with researchers and winners of international scholarships.
