Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center hold an educational event for students at Bukhara State University on the theme “Heritage of ancestors – an example for young people.” The event, which was organized freely and in a question-and-answer format, was attended by the leadership and researchers of the Center, as well as university students.
At the beginning of the event, under the moderation of the head of the department of the Center Tohir Evadullaev, to assess the existing knowledge about our great scientists and increase the sense of competition, participants were divided into named two groups, and elected leaders.
Director of the Center, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Shovosil Ziyodov briefed on the history, goals and objectives, and activities of the Center, as well as the published literature.
And addressed the groups with several questions during the presentation. For the answers given, a procedure for group evaluation in terms of participants’ group affiliation was introduced. Deputy Director of the Center, Doctor of Philosophy in History Otabek Muhammadiev acquainted the audience with the project “10 facts about our great ancestors” developed by scientists and presented a part of the project on Imam Bukhari.
Participants who answered the questions correctly during the presentation were able to add points to the score. The head of the department of the center, Doctor of Philosophy in History Mehrojiddin Amonov presented a question-and-answer part of the project related to Bahauddin Naqshband. During the presentations, students were allowed to ask questions that interested them. More than 10 questions asked by participants were answered in detail.
In the main part of the event, the moderator tested the knowledge of the group members about the life of Imam Bukhari based on test questions. According to the total number of points given for the answers to 20 questions and accumulated during the event, the teams drew with an equal score. Active participants of the event were awarded literature published by the Center.
