Shavkat Mirziyoyev urges to reconstruct Samarkand Airport

Upon arrival at the Samarkand International Airport, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the project of reconstruction of this air harbor. It envisages building another terminal, renovating the runway, expanding aircraft parking, and upgrading the radar systems. The new terminal will meet all international requirements and serve 600 passengers an hour.

The head of state instructed to introduce modern management at the airport, increase the number of trains and buses on routes during reconstruction works at the air harbor, create additional amenities for the population and tourists.
