In order to implement the tasks specified in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Measures to Establish an Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan” on March 27, 2017, the Center signed with memorandums of cooperation more than 15 leading Islamic research centers.
In addition, partnerships with research centers in the UK, France, Germany, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan, and India have been established. The Malaysian University of Islamic Sciences, the Institute of Islamic Civilization, the Institute of Islamic Awakening have reached agreement on studying and researching the scientific heritage of our great scholars.
The Center signed an agreement with the Saudi Arabian King Abdulaziz University, Sunna and the Study of the heritage of Nabaviya Center to take copies of rare manuscripts kept abroad.
Members of the delegation from Uzbekistan of Islamist and Oriental scholars are currently in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The delegation met with the Director of the Majmuatul Bukhari Al-Islam Center at Al-Azhar University in Egypt, Mohammad Nasif Iyaad, and exchanged views on research carried out by Islamic scholars from both countries.
At the meeting, the Memorandum signed between the Imam Bukhari International Research Center and the Al-Azhar University recognized that the joint efforts were mutually beneficial for researchers of both countries and it was emphasized that these efforts should be further strengthened and in the future the tasks to be implemented.
