The head of our state pays great attention to the study of the scientific heritage of our great ancestors who have contributed to the improvement of the spiritual, cultural and religious-enlightening spheres, as well as in all spheres in recent years.
Over the last two years, systematic measures have been taken in this direction that has led to the recognition of the world community, the reputation of our people.
Training of qualified personnel capable of solving pressing issues of our time is the restoration and further development of the historical status of Uzbekistan as a science and education center. Along with local guests, the number of international visitors is growing at the International Research Center of Imam Bukhari, which has been constructed and started its activities in a short time. According to the “Road Map” between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Turkey, scientific and practical contacts between research centers of Uzbekistan and Turkey are planned.
In this year, on July 9, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Mehmet Surayya Er, TIKA President Ali Ehsan Çağlar and Embassy Adviser Serjan Erjin visited Samarqand with a visit to the complex of Imam Bukhari.
During the visit, Guests were accepted by the director of the center Sh. Ziyodov and deputy director Sh. Umarov informed them about the organization and functioning of the center in the main foyer of the building, and invited international guests to inform the valuable spiritual heritage of our great scholars, translate and study scientifically and literary works created by them, as well as providing information to the public and the world community, as well as carrying out scientific researches.
After that, international visitors were given information about the great scholar Imam Bukhari in the museum’s collection of manuscripts and lithographs on the science of hadiths of different times, unique exhibits and modern media.
On the basis of mutual agreement, the Center was organized as a roundtable discussion among international guests and researchers at the Conference Hall. The scientific-practical meeting was opened by the Director of the Center and welcomed Mr. Mehmet Surayya Er, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, with a sincere congratulation and further comments on the further development of scientific and practical cooperation with scientific research centers, scientific institutes, manuscript funds and libraries in Turkey.
Highly respected guest Mehmet Surayya Er is also quoted as saying, “I sincerely congratulate the staff of the center with the launch of this center, which is named after Imam Bukhari’s blessed names! First of all, the land of Uzbekistan is a homeland for us and it is an honor for us to serve this country !! From the earliest to this blessed land, the great thinkers have educated the thinkers, and all around the world know that science and education have prospered and developed at all times. We propose to improve the skills of ISAM and your staff in the further development of scientific and practical ties between our countries and to research Turkish scholars and staff in this research center. It is important for us to develop our future scientific and practical relationships. “
Ali Ehsan Çağlar, the head of the TIKA representative office in Uzbekistan, also expressed his opinion that TIKA and the Center will continue to develop cooperation in the field of fields and support the initiatives of our staff.
At the end of the event, Ziyodov presented a number of rare books titled “The Definition of Imam Bukhari”, “Samarkand’s Alumni” and the Center’s “Catalog of Manuscripts” published by Mehmet Surayya Erga Center.
The high-ranking guest and the management of the Center agreed on the further development of further cooperation and consistent scientific and practical cooperation. Sh. Ziyodov thanked the Ambassador for his visit.
