A scientific meeting with French experts

The ” Route map” was established between the International scientific-research center of Imam Bukhari and the French research centers and cultural institutions in 2018-2022 years, that ” Route map” was approved by the cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 01.02.2018, № 01-07 / -1-1647. On paragraph 7 of that map was listed guidance on establishing partnerships with the French national research centers “CНРС”, organizing online lectures, seminars for specialists.

According to that “Route map”, today researchers from The national centers for French studies “CHPC” Thorez Julien and Isabella Ohayon were well accepted at International scientific-research center of Imam Bukhari.

In the meeting Ph.D. Sh. Ziyodov director of the International scientific-research center of Imam Bukhari briefed on the guests on the activities of the IBISRC. Then Thorez Julien expressed his satisfaction with the changes in Uzbekistan, especially in Uzbekistan, saying that the state is interested in the national culture and scientific heritage and that its results will be absolutely positive. Speaking about his field, he expressed his conviction that France and “CНРС” would continue to cooperate closely with the “IBISRC”.

Then the word was given to Isabella Ohayon, the expert of CHPC on Russia, Caucasus, and Central Asia. She mentioned that the researcher is conducting research in Central Asia about the Soviet regime and post-independence Islamic culture and development and that the current changes are more interesting for the research topic. She said that the scientific cooperation between the French and Uzbek scientific centers has been since for a long time, but she is glad that the next two years and now the research is getting stronger.

The free dialogue between the French experts and the Center’s specialists has shown that interest in the research is growing. During the question-and-answer dialogue, the parties exchanged experiences on relevant topics.
