“A Journey to the Golden Age”

The corresponding part of the documentary film of the same name is being filmed at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center by the creative team of the Turkish TV and Radio Channel “TRT El Arabiya”. In the part about Imam Bukhari, the Center’s scientists have shared information about the life, scientific heritage and role of the great hadith scholar in the development of Islamic science. The film aims to introduce the general public to the rich scientific heritage of the great thinkers from the land of Transoxiana – Muhammad Al-Khwarizmi, Abu Rayhan Al-Biruni and Ibn Sina.

The film also highlights the potential of the Centre, modern research methods and the scientific work carried out here, and expresses opinions on the extent of the study of Imam Bukhari’s legacy today, the importance of this research and its aspects related to universal human values.

Other parts of the documentary will be filmed in Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent.

The film, which will serve to introduce the high scientific potential of our great scientists to the world and further promote their scientific heritage, is planned to be broadcast on the TRT El Arabiya TV channel in March of this year.
