During the visit to Malaysia of the delegation of the Imam Bukhari and Imam Moturidi International Scientific Research Centers, a meeting was held with the Vice-Chancellor of the International Islamic University of Malaysia, Professor Mohamad Fauzan Noordin.
It should be noted that the International Islamic University of Malaysia is ranked 2nd in the ranking of international Islamic universities. It is ranked 41st in the ranking of the world’s strongest universities in debating in foreign languages.
The event discussed the prospects for cooperation between the International Islamic University of Malaysia and the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.
Vice-Rector Mohamad Fauzan Noordin stressed his readiness for cooperation with Uzbekistan in all areas.
A meeting was also held with Shukran Abdul Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies of the International Islamic University of Malaysia. The Malaysian side was provided with comprehensive information about the reforms being implemented in the religious and educational sphere at the initiative of the Head of our State. Sh. Abdurahmon said:
“I was impressed by the projects being implemented by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the religious sphere. It is rare for a leader to organize such large-scale work in a short period of time. Uzbekistan is the cradle of Islamic civilization. If the Uzbek side gave me the opportunity, I would also go to this ancient land and conduct scientific research,” he noted.
