On December 13 of this year, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Uzbekistan, AlSayyida Wafa Jabr Nasser Albusaidi, visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center. The guest was accompanied by the head of the Center, Sh. Ziyodov, and the rector of the High School for Hadith Science, Barot Amonov.
Wafa Jabr Nasser Albusaidi first got acquainted with the activities of the Center’s museum and library, as well as the scientific achievements of the team. She especially recognized the high scientific potential of the staff and the high educational value of the published literature.
After that, the Head of the Center, Sh. Ziyodov, and the Rector of the School, B. Amonov, discussed with the Ambassador the issues of scientific relations between Oman and Uzbekistan, cooperation projects, and their prospects.
Ms. Wafo Jabr highly appreciated the Center’s services in preserving and passing on the legacy of Imam Bukhari to future generations. She noted that in the future, she will try to act as a bridge between Omani researchers working with manuscripts and the scientific staff of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.
