On September 13, participants of the international study seminar on “Theoretical and practical aspects of learning Islamic teachings on women’s rights in Uzbekistan” organized with the support of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and Al-Azhar University (Egypt) visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in Tashkent.
Guests were welcomed by the Director of the Center, O. Muhammadiev, who provided information on the results of scientific research, achievements, and activities of the museum.
The seminar, focusing on the development of knowledge and skills in ensuring women’s rights from an Islamic perspective, was held as part of the international event program. The event provided recommendations to promote gender equality and ensure women’s rights in labor organizations, educational institutions, communities, neighborhoods, neighborhoods, and families, based on gender differences and aimed at combating discrimination.
Speakers emphasized the importance of gender equality and increasing the awareness of religious workers in addressing harmful effects of violence in families, promoting women’s rights in Islam, promoting the economic and social opportunities for women and girls, and improving communication strategies and skills in addressing early marriage.
