Over the past period, the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center has signed memorandums of understanding on mutual cooperation with a number of prestigious international organizations and scientific institutions, and certain work is being carried out.
As part of the implementation of the memorandum of understanding, signed as a logical continuation of this international activity, the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) organized the next round of training for the Center’s scientific team in the “C5+1” format among the Center’s researchers.
14 researchers of the Center took part in multi-day training sessions dedicated to organizing and effectively conducting trainings.
The trainings were aimed at increasing the training experience of participants, developing facilitation skills, consolidating knowledge through practical exercises, and independently conducting training sessions with the participation of students and youth.
During the training, methods and means of self-awareness, behavioral characteristics of an enlightened person and unconventional ways of their formation were considered. Concepts were given about communication skills, verbal and non-verbal types of communication in conflict situations, and attention was also paid to the meaning of tone in dialogue and the technique of active listening during a conversation.
The training consolidated knowledge on determining a person’s leadership potential, modeling in campaign work, organizing and conducting promotional events in cooperation. The theory of listening to the interlocutor and factors influencing the audience were also shown.
During the training, facilitation exercises were also carried out, that is, practical application of the trainer’s work. It developed practical skills related to starting, managing and completing training.
In the last days of the training, the participants independently conducted two-day training sessions aimed at realizing enlightened human qualities and leadership potential with the participation of students from the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand.
20 university students took part in the training, where the knowledge and skills acquired by the Center’s staff were demonstrated, and the participants were provided with the necessary concepts and content related to the manifestation of enlightened human behavior and the leadership potential of the individual. use of facilitation and modeling processes.
The classes were held freely, in the form of questions and answers.
Students who actively participated in the trainings were awarded souvenirs from the US Institute of Peace.
At the end of the training, the results, effectiveness, achievements and disadvantages of training were discussed with the students. The main attention was focused on the achieved results and bringing them to a qualitatively new level in future activities, and also revealed aspects that need to be changed in order to increase the content through the use of new methodological methods.
After this, a short dialogue about the training took place in connection with the end of the training. Barmak Pazhwak, project manager at the US Institute of Peace, expressed hope that the training sessions will be equally useful for all participants, and noted that he is always ready for online communication on behalf of the Institute. Barmak Pazhwak noted that the training brought pleasure to the organizers, as well as the active participation of the participants. At the same time, the head of the training expressed special gratitude to the government of our country for providing the opportunity to conduct such training, and regarded this as direct attention to the reforms carried out in the field of religion and education in our country.
After the discussion, all the participants of the training were given their certificates by the organizers.
