Barot Amonov, a researcher at the International Scientific Research Center of Imam Bukhari, сonducting internship in Germany, met with Professor Konrad Hirschler, director of the Center for the Study of Manuscript Culture at the University of Hamburg.
During the meeting, prospects for establishing cooperation between the centers were discussed. Opportunities for conducting joint scientific and technical research with the participation of specialists and employees of two scientific institutions, organizing scientific conferences and seminars, round tables, lectures, as well as training courses and master classes for scientific personnel, exchange of experience and information in the study of manuscripts.
As a result of the dialogue, together with the staff of the Center for the Study of Manuscript Culture and the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, an agreement was reached to create a catalog of existing seals in the work “Sahih Bukhari” and commentaries to it, as well as other manuscript works.
