THE NEXT PHASE OF THE PROMOTION STARTED

The staff of Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center started a new stage of spiritual and educational activities in Samarkand region, cities and districts. Special neighborhoods were selected for further improvement of the socio-spiritual environment. The Roadmap of events on the theme “Heritage of Imam Bukhari – against alien ideas” was approved.

The first events were organized in the neighborhoods of Samarkand city in cooperation with the scientists of Samarkand State University and the responsible staff of the regional administration of the Committee on Religious Affairs.

At the meeting held at “Galaosiya” neighborhood, the participants were given a broad understanding of the ideas of peace, goodness, enlightenment and tolerance of Islam. It was noted that the religion of Islam has been teaching humanity to treat not only Muslims, but also representatives of other religions with respect and tolerance.

Those who spoke at the event strongly condemned the fact that religious-extremist organizations are trying to create inter-religious and inter-ethnic conflicts by misleading people from the right path through a one-sided and incorrect interpretation of Islamic teachings based on their selfish goals in the current globalization, where the struggle of ideas has intensified.

At the event in “Ibrahimkhoja” neigbourhood, it was emphasized that disturbing the peace, harming the development of society and the well-being of the people, inciting sedition, dividing into categories, and quarreling with each other do not correspond to the religion of Islam. In more than a hundred verses of the Holy Qur’an, it was noted that Muslims are encouraged to be peaceful, tolerant and kind to all members of society. Because in Islam, great attention is paid to human dignity, and the life, honor and rights of every person, regardless of their faith, are highly valued.

At the events, scientific and practical recommendations were given, evidenced by important and practical examples, to protect our compatriots, especially young people, from various information attacks, to prevent socio-legal risks in the society, and to create a strong ideological immunity.

The meetings were based on open discussion, lively discussion and question-and-answer.
