At the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, in cooperation with the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, and the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan skill development courses are ongoing. The training courses aimed at improving the professional skills of about forty imams in the Samarkand region. This event aimed at improving religious literacy and protecting the youth from various foreign ideas by conveying the original teachings of Islam.
These training courses are organized based on the tasks given during the visit of the head of our state to the Samarkand region on August 24, 2023, and the minutes of the extended meeting, and consist of a total of 36 hours.
On the first day of the training courses, the director of the IBISRC, Sh. Ziyadov spoke about the important tasks facing the representations of the field to further increase the religious enlightenment of our people.
The scientific staff of the center gave lectures on the topics “The importance of a correct understanding of hadiths in preventing religious fanaticism”, “The claims about aqidah of the radical currents and the scientific refutations of the people of Sunnah”, “Ideological differences, currents, and factions in the modern Muslim world”.
According to the plan, the course is planned to conduct the training using lectures, seminar training, round table discussion, working in large and small groups, and other interactive methods. At the end of the training course, it is planned to pass the qualification attestation of the trainees based on the final control.
