Two employees of Manuscripts and Museum Department of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center went to Turkey for internship. Their internship was organized in the direction of ensuring the implementation of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 10, 2022 “On additional measures to improve the system of preservation and research of ancient written sources” and aims at professional development.
Yoldoshkhon Isayev and Bakhtiyor Ibatov went to Turkey in January last year to improve their professional qualifications. During the month-long internship, they returned with the necessary knowledge and skills to the book Hospital and the Archive Department of the Main Department of Manuscipts Works of Turkey (Türkiye Yazma Eserler Kurumu Başkanlığı Kitap Şifahanesi ve Arşiv Dairesi Başkanlıı).This time the goal is to consolidate the knowledge gained in this institution and master the next stages of the process associated with the restoration of manuscripts.
The scientific practice of the employees will last one month.
