A scientific-practical seminar was held on the topic”Conservation and restoration of ancient manuscripts” at the National Institute of Painting and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod.
In this conference, which was organized in cooperation with the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the Committee on Religious Affairs, the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences, the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, and the National Library of Uzbekistan Scientific, and staff of the Center participated.
At the event, the main attention was paid to the exchange of mutual experience on improving the professional potential and qualifications of scientific staff and specialists.
During the seminar, the participants were given information about keeping the state register of ancient written sources, its volumes prepared so far and the work done in this direction.
Within the framework of the event, seminar classes were held on the topics “History of bookbinding in Central Asia”, “The current importance of the restoration of manuscrips in Uzbekistan”, “The experience of working with sources of Juma al-Mojid” manuscripts center.
