A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center under the Cabinet of Ministers and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (IСESCO).
According to the agreement, joint scientific and technological research will be organized with the participation of experts and staff of the two organizations.
In addition, it is planned to organize joint scientific conferences, seminars and symposia, round tables, lectures, master classes, as well as training courses and workshops for researchers. The parties agreed to exchange with experience, publications, textbooks and teaching manuals.
IСESCO was founded in 1979, its headquarter located in Rabat, Morocco. It currently has 54 member states. Uzbekistan joined this prestigious organization in 2017. During the meeting, Director General of IСESCO Salim bin Muhammad al-Malik taking into account the contribution of scholars and thinkers from Uzbekistan to Islamic science and culture, proposed to establish an IСESCO’s Regional Center for Manuscripts at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.
